For very young children aged 0-2 years, the feet typically grow about 2 cm per year. This corresponds to roughly half a shoe size every two months, so the feet should be measured frequently to ensure the size still fits. For ages 2-6 years, the feet typically grow about 1.5 cm per year, and from 6-13 years, it will be about 1 cm per year. Remember, there can be slight differences in the size of your child's feet. You should always choose a pair of children's sneakers that fit the size of the larger foot. Measure your child's feet in the afternoon or evening, as the feet can swell throughout the day and therefore appear larger than they actually are.
